Great Ocean Road

The Twelve Apostles are 275 km out, so this is a ten-to-twelve hour day whatever anyone tells you. The coast road through Lorne and Apollo Bay is the point of the trip and the reason it should not be self-driven. Inland via Colac is quicker for the return leg when the light has gone, and most days we run out one way and back the other.
